While Inglourious Basterds director Quentin Tarantino may not have taken home any hardware last night, he surely got his foot fetish fix. Toes were out by the tens on the Oscars‘ red carpet, and there was something for all tastes. Burgandy, nude, lavender, and pink piggies were on the prowl. While you’re scrutinizing pedicures, don’t forget to take note of the actresses’ sky-high fabulous heels - Zoe Saldana’s violet t-straps were our fave. Take a look at 10 actresses with excellent sub-ankle style. [Photos: Getty Images]

Dangerously high slits, booty-hugging couture, and look-at-me breast adornment! Much to our delight, the most glamorous night in Tinseltown got injected with a shot of sex appeal. Avatar’s Zoe Saldana showed lots of leg in a love-it-or-hate-it gown. J-Lo reminded us why we first fell for her in the ’90s, flaunting her most famous asset. Newly-single Charlize Theron challenged potential suitors to look her in the eyes. The hottest in Hollywood took risks last night, and while some made fashion flops, others epitomized “movie star.” We’re looking at you, Sandra Bullock. Much to our delight, “The Real Housewives of NYC” premiered last night on Bravo, and some of the “stars” threw a party at La Pomme in Manhattan to celebrate. The snarky, pregnant, and sole independent-thinking housewife Bethenny Frankel skipped the shindig to hang out with Andy Cohen for the aftershow, but Ramona Singer, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Jill Zarin, and Kelly Bensimon got glammed up for the bash. Which housewife looked the hottest? [Photos: Getty Images]
When we first saw the photos of Jessica Alba arriving with hubby Cash Warren to last night’s Global Green USA Pre-Oscar party, we felt both confusion and déjà vu. Confusion as to why nominated-for-nothing-but-a-Razzie Alba was at an Oscar-associated event, and déjà vu in regards to her cute, but familiar, ensemble.
After a minute of racking our mental red carpet archives, we recalled that Avatar’s Zoe Saldana wore a very similar, though not identical, dress to the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards two months ago. Both actresses looked gorgeous in their respective draped cream dresses tied together with a black belt, but who looked hotter?

Whether she’s kicking ass in an action movie, walking alongside boyfriend Brad Pitt at the Oscars, or counseling Iraqi refugees, Angelina Jolie always looks impossibly gorgeous. A model at 16, Jolie was stunning straight from the womb. She has since starred in dozens of feature films, adopted three children and birthed three more, snagged one of the sexiest men on Earth, and become Hollywood’s most active philanthropist. Though her style is often understated, she always stands out in the crowd. Jolie made a basic black gown gleam at the 2009 Oscars, but don’t plan on seeing her on the red carpet this Sunday, as she and Pitt allegedly felt slighted when his role was left out of Inglourious Basterds‘ eight nominations.

The fashion at the world premiere of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland was just as dark as his gothic interpretation of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale. Aussie newcomer Mia Wasikowska (Alice) held her own alongside silver screen veterans Anne Hathaway (The White Queen) and Burton’s wife Helena Bonham Carter (The Red Queen). Wasikowska wore an open-backed laced gown, Hathaway sex’d it up in a slinky bronze dress, and Bonham Carter donned an expectedly kooky ensemble. Which Wonderland star looked the most glamorous? Over the last two decades, songbird Mariah Carey’s fashion choices have been cuckoo, butterfly-laden, and scantily clad. The curvaceous star is always down for belly-baring tops, high slits, and snug fits. Whether she’s in concert belting out a ballad, attending the Grammys, or singing the National Anthem at a basketball game, Mimi’s always dressed to the nines. Here are 40 of our favorite sexy, sweet, and silly Carey ensembles. [Photos: Getty Images]

We’d like to get our hands on the invite for the BAFTA Awards. Did some fancy font cause the stars to mistake “Formal” for “Frumpy”? We hope that was reason so many Best Dressed regulars bombed on the fashion front.
Newcomer Carey Mulligan’s floral gown wouldn’t have been terrible if it was kept to a single floor-length layer. French darling Audrey Tautou’s 80s-inspired bubblegum pink frock paired with a red purse and pumps was harsh on the eyes. A pouty Kristen Stewart hid her lust-worthy legs in an unflattering white Chanel gown while unsuccessfully hiding her relationship with Twilight-costar Robert Pattinson. Kate Winslet channeled 1994 in a cut-out black number. Our feelings are anything but Up in the Air about Anna Kendrick’s ill-fitting yellow dress. Overall consensus? Yuck.
Here’s hoping the A-listers step up their game for the Oscars on March 7th. [Photos: Getty Images]
