Vibrant colors and little black dresses were sparse on the red carpet at the 2010 Grammy Awards. Though Rihanna and Carrie Underwood shined in bright white, the night was all about shimmery nudes. Katy Perry flaunted a bare back in an Indian-inspired Zac Posen gown, while Beyonce va va voom’d in a hip-hugging zippered dress. Keri Hilson radiated classic beauty in a mermaid-cut Dolce and Gabbana. Heidi Klum looked predictably flawless in a low-cut glittery number. The neutral color scheme could have lead to quite a “meh” night of fashion, but the abundance of curves more than made up for the lack of purples, reds, and blues. [Photos: Getty Images]

As the Knowles sisters take on Japan to promote the Samantha Thavasa & Disney Collection, the sexy siblings have been dressing less than chic. Yesterday at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, Solange wore an XXL white shirt with a ruffled pink skirt, while sis Beyonce sported a denim-inspired dress. Kicking off the North American leg of her world tour at Madison Square Garden last night, Beyonce and her alter-ego Sasha Fierce — not to mention a mind-blowing number of costume changes — proved that they’re putting on the biggest pop music spectacle of the summer. But in terms of sheer sex appeal, Beyonce has some stiff competition from singer/model Ciara, who performed in London earlier this month and will play U.S. venues in July.
