As Hilton’s go, Nicky is the one who seems to have her life together, and we’ve always admired her sense of style. Take for instance her effortless, cool leggings look (we like the outfit, which is a shock considering we fall into the “leggings are not pants” camp), with a leopard coat. We love the whole ensemble, especially her red ballet flats. Unfortunately, her chicness didn’t translate when she got dressed last night for the Domino Pre-Oscar Hollywood Gala Benefit. Hilton showed up in a droopy, 80’s-inspired dress that’s just one puffed sleeve away from being part of the Dynasty wardrobe. Her heavy diamond necklace (which we don’t doubt is real) might be worth a lot, but it adds a “My Nana lent me her jewels!” aspect to the entire thing too. Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon showed up to her Halloween party in NYC looking heavenly and happy in all white. On the opposite coast, Paris Hilton and boyfriend Doug Reinhardt partied at Heidi Klum’s annual fete in less recognizable white ensembles. It appears that Doug set aside his dignity to don a tutu as the Tooth Fairy, while Paris is maybe an angelic cha-cha dancer? We’re not sure. Which kooky couple looked better?

Sisters Nicky and Paris Hilton always make headlines with their fashion choices, but according to Nicky, dressing up wasn’t always fun and games. TheFABlife caught up with the younger of the Hilton sisters at Charlotte Ronson’s runway show today at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week.

“We fought over clothes. We did not like sharing,” Nicky told TheFABlife. As for now, the two sisters have no problem fighting over duds, because, according to Nicky, they don’t like the same things!

Fashion designer Anand Jon, who had appeared on “America’s Next Top Model” and designed clothes for Paris Hilton and Mary J. Blige, has been sentenced to 59 years to life in prison for sexually assaulting seven young women and girls he enticed with the promise of modeling jobs.

Anand acted as his own attorney and asked for a new trial because of juror and prosecutorial misconduct. Judge David Wesley denied his request.

His victims looked on and wept from the jury box. Several victims spoke before the sentencing including one who said, “I was 14. You took my adolescence, my trust, my dream, and completely manipulated them for your sexual desires.”  [Source: LA Times; Photo: Splash News Online]

Both Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton went shopping in L.A. yesterday. Nicky was spotted shopping with her mom for shoes at Christian Louboutin in West Hollywood and Paris hit up a pet store in Beverly Glen, probably buying shi shi treats for her chihuahuas. Both sisters wore large shades and showed off their slender frames with thigh-high summer dresses. While Paris gussied up her outfit with high heels, Nicky went for a more laid back aesthetic by wearing sandals. Which Hilton sister looks hotter?

After calling it quits with Doug Reinhardt, Paris Hilton grabbed her companion for life, sister Nicky, and headed to Nobu in Los Angeles for a little post-breakup snack. Paris looked like a sexy single in a cleavage baring mini dress and boots, while Nicky, who is one of the few people in the world who can pull off animal prints, let out her inner beast with a cheetah print dress. The Cannes Film Festival isn’t screening any movies starring Paris Hilton or Peaches Geldof this year — and it probably never will. But that hasn’t stopped either socialite from invading French shores. Like an invasive species of weed that multiplies to the detriment of native plants (in this case, “serious” actors), Paris and Peaches are stealing a chunk of the spotlight at the festival’s parties and premieres.

Paparazzi houses, for example, have snapped dozens of pictures of Paris and Peaches for every one of Marion Cotillard, the first actress to win an Academy Award for a French language film. But who are we to judge if the paparazzi — or the world, for that matter — has an obsession with these two blonds?  Ogle the pics below, then vote for which socialite has displayed the best style at the festival so far.

Celebs were out in full force yesterday at the T-Mobile Sidekick LX launch party and love was in the air.
