Exclusive Diva Photos Brought To You By The Samsung DualView

Leona Lewis, Kelly Clarkson, Jordin Sparks, Adele, and Sheryl Crow hang out and have some fun with VH1 on the red carpet. No two divas are exactly alike, as these songbirds displayed with their very different red carpet choices. Adele went for all black, while Kelly Clarkson put a twist on the little black dress with her feathered shoulder. Jordin’s bejeweled dress shimmered while Leona and Sheryl went for a more regal look: Leona in a lavender gown with black corset and Sheryl in a crushed velvet dress. But Samsung DualView, who is the most fabulously dressed Diva of them all? Adele checks it out for herself by viewing the photos on the Samsung DualView’s front AND back LCD screens: the 1.5 inch front LCD screen and three-inch Touch Screen. Check out this Diva summit in exclusive photos captured by our VH1 blogger with his Samsung DualView camera!

VH1 Divas Backstage: Adele Says “Being A Diva Is About Being Nice”

One of the highlights of our day was getting to hang with Adele. We chatted with the Brit about her super-fast rise to stardom and checked out pics of her new puppy on her Blackberry (he was left at home as he’s still too young to travel). The singer is relatively new to fame; she hit it big - nay, HUGE - with her album 19, won a ton of critical acclaim, and snagged a couple of Grammys along the way. No big deal, right?

Adele’s only 21, but she assured us that’s she’s been doin’ the diva thing long before she became a household name. “I was doin’ it way before I won a Grammy,” she tells us, explaining, “If it has to do with my career and I want something and it’s not happening, I get annoyed.”

But being a diva isn’t about being crazy demanding, says the singer. “I think being a diva is also about being nice and knowing how to work with people, and how to treat your fans. That’s very important.”

We can attest that the girl’s got the nice thing down, as she was super cool to us. Watch our entire interview with Adele above and check out pics of her pup on her Myspace page. Be sure to tune in to VH1 Divas tomorrow at 9PM EST and check back here to participate in our Divas Live Blog Party.

Lily Wants To Organize Spice Girls Tribute With Adele, Leona

lily-allen-adele-leona-lewis

Lily Allen wants to be a wannabe, for real. Allen recent discussed a fantasy she had for this year’s Brit Awards to team up with several of her fellow divas to perform a tribute to The Spice Girls. Though the award show came and went already, we beg Lily to follow through with what we think is a brilliant idea.

Allen explained “I’d be Posh, Adele would be Ginger, Duffy would be Baby, Leona [Lewis] would be Scary and Amy [Winehouse] would be Sporty… She was always the one with the best voice.” Allen had hoped the quintet would be able to recreate the Spice Girls’ first huge hit “Wannabe” onstage. Just the idea of watching Amy Winehouse attempt a backflip in a sports bra makes us tingle with glee. Lily, please don’t give up on this idea, we would give anything to have this happen! Maybe you can bring it up again for the 2010 awards.

Check out Lily’s pals Leona Lewis and Adele on “VH1 Divas,” which will air live on Sept. 17 at 9PM EST. Until then, get your divas fix by reading the full VH1 Divas press release, following the VH1 Divas Twitter and watching videos by the artists in the lineup.
