Much to our delight, “The Real Housewives of NYC” premiered last night on Bravo, and some of the “stars” threw a party at La Pomme in Manhattan to celebrate. The snarky, pregnant, and sole independent-thinking housewife Bethenny Frankel skipped the shindig to hang out with Andy Cohen for the aftershow, but Ramona Singer, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Jill Zarin, and Kelly Bensimon got glammed up for the bash. Real Housewife Bethenny Frankel wasn’t going to let her baby bump keep her from rocking the runway at the Heart Truth Red Dress Fall 2010 Fashion Show in NY last night. A benefit to raise awareness about women’s heart disease, the gala was a star-studded affair with everyone from Joan Collins to Jordin Sparks to Kim Kardashian strutting their stuff in a series of stylish outfits from different designers. “It’s fun and I love all the different fashion,” said show stealer Heidi Klum. “This is not modeling with a runway walk and a mean face. It’s a different feeling. It’s goofy, funny and you ham it up.” See who else did just that in the gallery below.

Hm, it’s hard to decide if we prefer the Real Housewife from Atlanta or New York more here. (And by “prefer” we mean “are less offended by”.) In one corner, we have Bethenny Frankel representing the Diva’s hometown of New York, and in the other we have Kim Zolciak representing the ATL. While most other attendees opted for demure, these two definitely didn’t. Is Bethenny’s busy black and white look too much, or is it tame compared to Kim’s hot pink bubble dress?
